For this Big Sky Resort Wedding, I was fortunate to be present when Heidi's mother, who is battling cancer, was fitted with a wig to wear at her daughter's wedding. This was the most powerful and emotional moment I've witnessed in my life and I'm thankful to have been trained to know how to photograph this for posterity. We are all confident that Heidi's mother will conquer the disease so I hope that one day these photos will be looked back upon fondly.
Emotion of any kind is what my senses are tuned towards on wedding day. I will almost always go straight to them because I prefer raw and real and that is exactly what laughter, crying, or hugging is. Even the most hardened man can cast a glimpse into his soul when he opens up with his bride.
Big Sky Resort is the venue if you're looking to get married near the Spanish Peaks. Though some ceremonies take place at Moonlight Basin or Lone Peak Ranch, the Resort is the most common location for couples looking for big, majestic mountainous backdrops for their Montana wedding photography. Big Sky Resort is located at the upper end of the highway in Big Sky, Montana. Phone: (800) 548-4486 Website: http://bigskyresort.com/
