David Clumpner Blog:Jess and Tim's Barn on Mullan Wedding

Snow! It’s been years since I’ve photographed snow at a wedding, but Jess and Tim brought it! The forecast was uncertain on how long it would last so I asked them to be flexible and jump to when the snow started falling, which they did. We were able to get quite a few of the family portraits in snow as well as two stints of creative portraits with the couple. I was also took a lot of impromptu guest portraits in the snow, which was fun for those who came from warm weather climates (and were promised that it would not actually snow).

I don’t know why this happens, but I often find at smaller weddings that the dance floor can be really hopping. This was very much the case at Jess and Tim’s wedding and I the testament to that is that half the slideshow images are from the dance floor!
