Some of my favorite wedding ceremonies are those that happen on private property where a wedding has never taken place before. There’s something special about being the first and getting to photograph fresh. Every couple is that way, but it’s fun to also be the first to see how a ceremony will unfold on a hill overlooking Emigrant Peak. This was the case for Tiffany and Brian, who were married near their house in Pray, Montana. The reception was held on site then the dancing/after party was at The Old Saloon in nearby Emigrant. The groom’s brother’s touring band, The Flying Buffaloes, traveled from Nashville to play for the wedding couple and the other few hundred people who show up at The Old Saloon every Saturday night. There were many firsts for me at Tiffany and Brian’s wedding, but having a reception mixed in with the general public was a highlight. I’m not actually sure who is in the dancing photos. 🙂
