Alanna and Jeff, both of Nova Scotia, met in New York City (thanks to Alanna’s sister!). They originally planned a large wedding there in Alanna’s hometown but Covid required a change of plans. A beautiful location for their wedding was still a requirement, so instead of going north they went west, where they had traveled together a couple years ago. This led them to Sage Lodge in Paradise Valley, which definitely fits the bill for what they wanted. Unfortunately it was a big fire season so we did end up with some smoke, but not until after the ceremony was completed!
This was a beautiful, intimate wedding at one of my favorite venues in the state. The temperature was perfect, the wind wasn’t too bad (it can be!), and the closeness of all the friends and family made for a really fun time.
