Amber and Dustin were originally scheduled for a full wedding at White Raven last year, but suffered the same fate of most large weddings during a pandemic. Instead, they split their day by having a small ceremony with immediate family last spring in Florence, then had their reception a year later at White Raven. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend both, including the extended party with ample time for portraits. We had a stormy-looking day at White Raven but never had to deal with raindrops, only the perception that they were always just a few minutes away. This was really fun to photograph as it gave us the drama that western Montana often presents during the shoulder seasons.
