Anna and Grayson met three years ago over bicycling and beers in Denver (is that not the best way to meet?), got engaged two years later in one of Anna’s favorite places in Cape Cod, then in a year filled with turmoil in the world and the wedding industry, made a gorgeous mountain-top wedding come to life in Big Sky, Montana. They’ve lived in many states and have a number of special places between them, but Montana has always held Anna’s heart and the Big Sky Chapel is where she has always wanted to be wed. There was a slight 2020 twist in that the ceremony was held outside, but it was the perfect day for it!
Afterwards we visited Moonlight Basin for some epic bridal party photos and portraits, then rode the Ramcharger lift from Big Sky Resort up to Everett’s 8800′, which is the best location in Montana to hold a wedding reception. The toasts were emotional, the surprise choreographed first dances perfect, and the dancing and party epic. Also, the silent ride back down in absolute darkness on the chairlift is one of my favorite experiences of my life. If you have never ridden a chair at night, put it on your bucket list.
