I was excited about this wedding from the first inquiry form, when I saw the location was in Butte. It’s a fascinating city to me, one I’ve read books about and been planning a multi-day tour for years now. It’s one of the few places in Montana where so much history shows up in the background of the photos (in the form of mining headframes), so it’s nice when the couple has a deep-rooted history in the city, like Callie’s does.
What I didn’t know I was getting myself into was a trolley ride to and from the ceremony with bar and distillery stops in both directions, a ceremony in front of one of the most famous mines (The Con), and a T-Rex on the dance floor. This slideshow is worth a watch!
