Christine and Machi met through their church in Santa Monica in 2018. They’d had plans to travel to Europe in 2020 with a larger group, where Christine hoped something would develop, but Covid put a damper on that dream. Instead, the Europe crew became a quarantine group and they all came together for weekly dinners on Sunday nights and eventually one thing led to another!
Their wedding was so exquisitely planned and executed by Mara Strobel on Always Planning Events. The florals were beautiful, the venue quiet and serene, and the party and dancing was fantastic. The rain even held off until everyone was under the shelter of the pavilion. Make sure you watch the slideshow through the dancing section as it’s one of my favorite parts of the day – especially the “dress malfunction” during the first dance!
