This was such a fun day, from sunrise until well after sunset. I met Heather and Barbo at a Bozeman trailhead while it was still too dark to photograph, then we took off up a mountain. It was perfect: a typical outdoor activity for them, no worries about hair/makeup/clothes, a cool fall temperature, and solitude. We had a little break afterwards before meeting at the Woodlands at Cottonwood Canyon, where we spent the rest of the day with a relaxed wedding schedule centered around, as Heather put it, “a family reunion, anniversary party, and wedding ceremony/reception”. I want all of my clients to think along those lines (people over pageantry), so it was refreshing when Heather opened her inquiry email that way! Highlights of the day include fall colors, Barbo’s facial expressions, and a kickass dance floor!
