I found Jackie and Steve to be hilarious from the outset. Here is how they answered the “how did you meet?” questionnaire I sent: “We met in the old man rotary club. We were the only young single people. It was meant to be.” Also, Steve’s response to how their engagement unfolded: “I proposed to Jackie at my house because she hated my house so I forced her to have at least one good memory in it. ”
Their smiles and laughter are evident throughout the wedding, but they both also had a sentimental side and a few details at the wedding are notable: Jackie’s grandmother’s diamond was in her engagement ring, the cross from Steve’s grandmother’s casket was placed next to the altar, and they each wrote more personal vows, which they read to each other privately in the bridal suite after the wedding.
