Jim hired me this past spring to photograph his engagement to Jordan in Glacier Park. But then he called me back and said he is terrible at holding secrets and would likely have to propose before coming to Montana or else he’d be a nervous wreck on the front end of the trip and she would surely know, and the element of surprise was key. So instead, a couple weeks before they came to Montana, he waited on one knee in front of the door on a Wednesday morning between her workouts and waited for her to walk through. Unfortunately there was a snafu with a package at the desk downstairs so he was on one knee for over ten minutes and had to get some clothing to pad his knee, but when she finally burst through the door, all disheveled and sweaty, Jim succeeded in a surprise proposal! The sweetest thing was that he sent me a picture within the hour!
So instead of a proposal we woke up so so early and went into the park for engagement photos!
