Kayla and Russell had one of the most low-key, fun weddings I’ve ever attended. They wanted to do a first look not so they could get family portraits done beforehand, but so they could spend more time together on their wedding day. Kayla had an amazing bouquet, arranged along a circle of metal, while their arbor was in the shape of a crescent moon. One of my favorite parts of their wedding – of any wedding – was the father-daughter first dance to the “Discovery Channel” song by Bloodhound Gang. Kayla’s father just really liked the song – nevermind the lyrics – so that’s what they danced to. Partway through, the entire guest list joined in and I photographed with all my might while laughing hysterically.
