I joined Lindsey and Jim for an afternoon at Highlands Ranch Mansion and then up the mountain to Winter Park. It was nearly 50 degrees when we started and I barely threw in my jacket, but fortunately as an adult, I think ahead now. When we got to the top of the pass I think it was 18 degrees with a brisk breeze. At our first stop we got hit with a snow squall, which was exactly what I was hoping for but it meant that poor Lindsey and Jim had to stand out in the cold much longer than I’d promised when we got out of the car. But it was so worth it. I’m really looking forward to making the trip back to Colorado this summer for Lindsey’s sister’s wedding, then again next January for Lindsey and Jim!
