I have photographed the Mayes family a few times, originally in Big Sky, then Lake Martin, Alabama, then in St. John last summer. I’ve been with them since Theo was just tiny, and now Courtney is driving and Nina is turning 40! I cherish every chance I get to hang out with the family as I now consider them good friends. In early March I joined them and their friends in Florida for Nina’s pink-themed 40th birthday party, which was a blast.
