I am honored to see my documentary photos get a lot of recognition within the Wedding Photojournalist Association’s competitions throughout the year. All of these photos added together put me in the 34th spot internationally for the year, which is just a humbling honor. Taking behind the scenes photos of small and big moments and the funny things that happen at real weddings is my passion. My primary reward is providing memories for my clients and their guests, then having new clients see this work and resonate with it enough to trust me to document their day, but it is also nice having judges who come from the non-wedding photojournalism world see something special in my photos.
I’m so excited for my 2020 clients and to get to see and document what unfolds at weddings this summer.
