The Wedding Photojournalist Association just released their 2020 competition results and I am excited to share that I was ranked as the top photographer in the United States and #5 in the world.
I have always loved how the WPJA awards the smaller, candid moments at a wedding. I put extra effort into capturing these for my clients so it’s wonderful when I see them get attention from fellow photojournalists who see the value in the fun, quirky, and emotional. As with news photojournalism, there was no influence on any of these scenes by me, the photographer. All my 2020 winning photos are included below.
