Whitney and Mike’s wedding felt like a perfect fit for me from our first phone call to their questionnaire to the actual wedding day. They told me from the beginning that their wedding was just a gathering of friends with no formal plans or traditions and they felt my candid style would be a good fit, to which I agreed. Whitney wore a yellow dress, the guests were wading around in Flathead Lake when I arrived (and I joined them), Whitney’s hair was done by a woman who came straight from the lake still dressed in her bathing suit, and post-wedding we took a boat ride to celebrate with champagne. There was dancing, swimming, and music played by friends and relatives, and I can’t imagine a more perfect way to have a casual wedding on the shores of Flathead Lake.
