As a documentary wedding photographer, it's important for me to stay with my clients all day long. That includes all moments short of going to the bathroom. Wherever possible, I will also travel between locations with the bride, just so long as I have a ride back home or to my vehicle. In this case there was a free seat in the front of the car that Ana and her father, Joaquin, were riding in from Granada to La Esperanza, where the wedding ceremony would be taking place. I find it to be very rewarding to be present for these in-between moments where big wedding moments aren't pressuring anybody with expectation. This is just a planned twenty minutes of downtime, which allows Ana and her father to chat and reflect on the day. They were speaking Spanish, so I'm not sure what they were conversing about, but clearly it was very funny!
Location: Granada, Nicaragua.
