Foster Creek farm, in Belgrade, Montana, incorporates the original hand-hewn log cabin and outbuildings dating back to 1890 into a modern look with restorative finishes. William P. Huffine bought the farm in 1906 and developed the property further, adding the barn and the farmhouse. The property was once an integral part of a larger barley and wheat growing community in the area. Many of the surrounding properties still farm, which contributes to the magic of the open space portraits we can take in the evenings.
The extensive restoration of the historical barn is the venue’s centerpiece that brings together classic charm and modern elegance. The large windows at the east entrance face the gorgeous Bridger Mountains and bring in an unusually large amount of natural light for a barn. The original grain building has been renovated into an exquisite suite and one of the initial log buildings has been converted into a handsome cabin. The suite and cabin are great for wedding parties to prepare in, especially the suite with its whitewashed walls. It's undoubtedly my favorite Getting Ready space in all of Montana. The goal of the ownership of Foster Creek Farm has been to preserve as much of the original history and buildings while incorporating modern touches. There are also a few glamping tents available for additional accommodation of up to 34 guests, but Bozeman is nearby as well and there are many lodging options there.
Foster Creek Farm retains the authentic Montana feel with fantastic mountain views while providing a luxurious venue conveniently close to Bozeman.
