National Park weddings are getting tougher as the visitor counts break new records every year. In the case of both National Parks that fall within Montana - Glacier and Yellowstone - wedding sizes are limited to larger elopements. I rarely photograph a ceremony with more than ten guests as there aren't the venues to support larger gatherings or there aren't enough parking places. The only exception might be the chapel in Mammoth Hot Springs, which is technically on the Wyoming side of the line just inside the Gardiner entrance on the north side of Yellowstone. This church has seating for over 100 and a reasonably sized parking lot as well. Lodging and food can be taken care of just a short distance away at Mammoth Hot Springs Lodge.
I usually photograph one or two weddings each year at Mammoth, which is one of my favorite places in the park due to the brilliant sunset opportunities offered nearby.
