Buffalo Bridge sets up an encampment near Gardiner each year for about a month to "keep traditions alive in Yellowstone's Buffalo Country during the treaty hunt." They spend their days cooking organs and road kill meat, scraping and tanning skins, and playing the guitar. On days when there is a bison kill they may help clean the animals and take organs left behind by the hunters.
