Just after eloping on the shores of Bowman Lake in Glacier National Park, Sally and Michael went on a little walk down the western shore for portraits. Here they are walking out on a small spit amidst the summer smoke for a sunrise portrait with the lake's mirrored mountains framing them from behind. This is the type of portrait I try to capture for a couple, one that shows the moments between and a little motion or action. They did end up doing a small pose on the rocks, but this shot is why I had them walk out there.
